Bridget Palmer, Director
Bridget discovered her love of theater as a child in Santa Rosa and performed as often as she could. Her formal training includes a BA in Art & Society, with a Theater focus, acting with a professional theater company in Poland for two seasons, and two years of graduate study in Directing. However, what she prizes more than anything were the formative experiences she had as a young person at RVJH and SRHS under the direction of Melanie Lehman, BJ Van Noy, Dan Earl, and Beth Craven. In 1999, she found her calling directing plays for the Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks Department. In 2007, she became Director of Santa Rosa Children’s Theater, and has expanded the program to offer theater performance classes to hundreds of students annually, including her perpetually sold out Drama Camps, now in their 12th year. Bridget also led a professional comedy improv troupe at the 6th Street Playhouse from 2008-2013. In 2012, she began teaching middle school Drama at Rincon Valley Charter School. In 2014, she took the Show Biz Kidz program in the Rincon Valley school district under her wing, and in 2015 began leading middle school “Story Ninjas” in free improvised performances for local libraries. She loves teaching & theater as much as ever, and relishes the joy and excitement she sees ignited in her young actors on a daily basis. She’s thrilled she can empower so many young people and pass on her enthusiasm for the performing arts to the next generation!
Caroline Lomba, Co-Director & Choreographer
Caroline discovered her love of theater and acting at a fairly young age, taking part in productions at Rincon Valley Junior High, Santa Rosa High School, and Santa Rosa Players. While studying art and G.E. at Santa Rosa Junior College, she discovered her love of ballet and modern dance and continued to take classes for many years, eventually subbing in classes for her teachers as needed. One day Caroline bumped into her dear old friend Bridget, who shared that she was putting together a musical theater camp and was currently looking for a choreographer and co-director. They put their heads together to create the initial Drama Camp, which is now in its 12th season.
Caroline also runs a graphic/web design and illustration business, and enjoys helping businesses and individuals make lasting and meaningful connections with their ‘audience’, otherwise known as clientele, which is hopefully evident from the site you are viewing—http://lomba.design/—707.541.8937. Caroline has also worked as a professional decorative artist for custom interior designers painting murals, children’s rooms and specialty furniture finishes, gilding, etc., and been a buyer at Riley Street in Santa Rosa, as well as another art supply store in Marin. Caroline very much enjoys bringing her passion and knowledge of art and technique to round out the Drama Camp ‘experience.’

He has been teaching in the Santa Rosa Children’s Theater program since 2015 at various school sites and at the Steele Lane Drama Camp. Children love Kot’s friendly demeanor and encouraging attitude!
